What is the difference between an NVMe VPS and an SSD VPS?
Both use flash memory, but SATA SSDs use a protocol designed for spinning disks with a single command queue. NVMe connects flash directly over PCIe with thousands of parallel queues — several times the throughput and much lower latency under concurrent server load.
