Very close. Quebec City is closer to New York than Dallas is. Expect latency under 15ms to most East Coast cities.

What is a USA VPS?
A USA VPS is a virtual private server hosted in an American datacenter. PetroSky does not have a U.S. location yet, but it is coming soon. Our Quebec datacenter is the closest alternative, with low latency to the U.S. East Coast and strong connectivity across North America.
Can I choose between Windows and Linux?
Yes, install any supported Windows Server or Linux distribution to suit your specific workload.
Where are PetroSky's servers located?
PetroSky currently operates in two locations: Quebec City (Canada) and Paris (France), both in Equinix datacenters. U.S. and UK locations are planned but not yet live.
How secure is my VPS?
All VPS plans include DDoS protection, firewalls, and optional automated backups (up to 4x per week) to safeguard your operations.
Can I upgrade my VPS plan as my business grows?
Yes. You can upgrade CPU, RAM, or storage from your control panel. Your VPS may require a brief restart to apply the new resources.
Do you offer managed support?
We provide 24/7 support via ticket, live chat, and email. Our team can help with setup questions, troubleshooting, and general server guidance. You retain full root/admin access and control over your environment.
Why do I need to opt for a USA-based VPS?
A USA-based VPS reduces latency for US-based visitors and applications. Our USA location is coming soon. In the meantime, our Canada (Quebec) datacenter provides strong connectivity to the US East Coast.
Am I granted root access with a USA VPS?
Yes. Every PetroSky VPS includes full root (Linux) or administrator (Windows) access. You have complete control over your server, including software installation and configuration.
Can I host multiple websites?
Yes. You can host as many sites as your plan supports. Since PetroSky does not overbook, the resources on your VPS are consistently available whether you run one site or a dozen.
What is the hosting uptime guarantee?
PetroSky maintains 99.9% uptime. That means minimal downtime across the year, backed by proactive monitoring that catches issues before they affect your server.
Are there any setup fees for hosting?
No. There are no setup fees on any plan. The price you see is the price you pay.
How do I get started?
